Data first, words second

Every number on a product or comparison page, including prices, percentages, dates and percentiles, comes from our records and is placed into the text by template. The connective reasoning between those numbers may be drafted by a language model. The model never generates a price, a percentage or a date; if a figure is not in the record, it is not on the page.

Review

• 2% of generated sections are reviewed by a person every week.
• Every section flagged by our validator (unsupported claims, superlatives, numbers that do not match the record) is reviewed before it is published.
• Guides and the methodology are written and bylined by a person.
• Near-duplicate text is suppressed: a section is regenerated or withheld when it is more than 85% similar to a sibling page.

Labelling

Generated sections carry the label "Generated from FlexiDealsHQ price data and reviewed under our editorial policy." with a link to this page. Guides and the methodology carry an author byline and published/updated dates.

What we never publish

• Reviews of any kind: we do not write, buy, host or generate them, and retailer ratings never appear in our structured data.
• Superlatives we cannot substantiate. "Lowest price in 90 days" always means in our tracking and is backed by a substantiation record.
• Discount claims that fail the former-price test on the methodology page.

Corrections

Every product and comparison page carries a "Report a problem" control; on every other page the route is the corrections mailbox, which is listed on the contact page. Reports of a wrong price, specification or verdict go to [email protected]. We acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to fix a wrong specification within 48 hours. Material corrections are noted on the affected page with the date; a wrong verdict triggers an immediate re-score.
