We track the laptops in this category. We have not recorded a price yet, so this page shows none: our first two retailer data sources, the eBay Browse API and the Best Buy Developer API, are still in application review, and observation starts the day each one is authorised.

What has to be true before this page prints a number:

  • A price appears only with the timestamp we observed it at. We never carry a number forward from an earlier reading to keep a page looking full.
  • A verdict needs at least 30 observations spanning at least 14 days of history for that exact product, so verdicts arrive about two weeks behind the first price.
  • A crossed-out "was" price is shown as a discount only when that price was the prevailing one for at least 30% of the last 90 days in our own observations. Otherwise it is labelled the retailer's list price.
  • Nothing here is estimated, modelled, or filled in to look complete. An empty field means we have not measured it yet.
